Please remember that he final day in residence halls is Friday, December 18th.
All students must check out by 8 pm! If you are staying in Prague beyond Dec 18th, you have to make alternative housing arrangements. For legal and immigration reasons, all students must move out of NYU Prague housing by the official end of the program.
Storing luggage –
Also please note that NYU Prague cannot store your luggage after the official end of the program – Dec, 18th. You can store your bags for a small fee at Vaclav Havel Airport or Prague’s Main Train Station (Hlavni Nadrazi).
TRANSPORTATION TO THE AIRPORT
Based on the departure information that you’ve submitted, we ordered buses for the largest group of students leaving from each residence hall at around the same time. Please check this list to see if you’ve reserved a spot on the bus.
SLEZSKA – flights departing at 6:55 am
board the bus at 4:20am, bus departs for the airport at 4:30am SHARP!
MACHOVA – flights departing between6:50 am – 7:30 am
board the bus at 4:20 am, bus departs for the airport at 4:30am SHARP!
OSADNI – flights departing between 8:45 am –10:10 am
board the bus at 6:30 am, bus depart for the airport at 6:45 am SHARP!

BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR RESIDENCE HALL……
FINAL WEEK IN PRAGUE
RETURN ALL ITEMS TO THE LIBRARY: books, readers, DVDs, videos, magazines. If you’ve lost any of the library books, you must replace them or pay a fee. You can order a same item on Amazon and have it shipped to NYU Prague, Male namesti 2, Prague 1. Our librarian will need to see a payment receipt! If you’ve lost (or decided to keep ) any of your NYU Prague readers, you’ll be charged 1000 CZK from your NYU account.
HAVE YOUR ROOM CHECKED: Ask your building manager to check the room/apartment and fill out the check-out form at least a day before your planned departure. Marketa, Tyna and Darima will be checking rooms during the last week of the program (Dec 14th). More info will be posted in the dorms.
DEPARTURE DAY
ORGANIZE YOUR ROOM: Please take out all garbage; take sheets off of your bedding and leave them on your bed; take down all posters and decorations
..& KITCHEN: leave refrigerated and frozen food in the fridge. Dry food can be placed on your kitchen table.
COLLECTION FOR REFUGEES: Every semester, we collect clothes, toiletries, hair dryers, etc. that students can’t fit in their suitcases and we deliver them to refugees living in the Czech Republic. If you wish to make a donation, please leave all items on your room desk.
RETURN YOUR KEYS: Give your keys to the security guard when leaving a residence hall. There is a $30 charge for lost keys.
